Ex- navy man and now retired, 65 years old Ken Sawrey has had a keen interest in cars from a very early age. “I was the youngest of five boys and I used to watch my brothers do up their cars and motorbikes.” Ken is widowed and lives in Longworry, Gippsland, Victoria. He has three children, Jason, 38 years old and twins Brad and Kate, 36 years old. He also has five grandchildren, After leaving school in 1974 Ken joined the navy in 1976 in which he served for nine years as a cook. Peter, now retired, has been married to Helen ‘Haych’ (also retired) for 49 years and they have three children and eight grandchildren. Peter worked for the Forest Commission as a mechanic and grader operator for about 20 years. He has also worked in the logging in Victoria, mining in Western Australia and then a grader operator on pipelines all over Australia.  Grizz Peter has been retired for five years and can now enjoy his love of old cars. He says, “first it was vintage cars and then when I was about 10 years old I would watch the drag racing at Calder on television and became hooked on classics and hot rods.” Geoff’s first normal car was a Holden panel van and his current daily ride is an FX one ton ute which is an ex-work vehicle. In conjunction with his brother Glenn and another partner, Stuart Lancaster, the business has been successfully operating since 1997. Early interest in cars Dean has had a keen interest in cars from early childhood and says “at a very young age, under 10, I started to have an interest in cars when a friend of my dad bought a HZ Holden station wagon. It was lowered and had hot wires under the guards. It was the first time I had seen a Holden customised and from then I knew what I wanted when I grew up. When I was16 I knew that it would be the HZ wagon. Of course, I could not have a V8 while on P plates, so my first car wa
